The LPC Supervision Group of Alabama was created in 2021 by Leslie Phillips, LPC-SC, NCC. This group is free to join, and is for LPC Supervisors in Alabama to network, connect, coordinate, consult, support and learn from one another regarding supervision practices.
We are currently in the design phase of this group. We plan to hold monthly and/or quarterly meetings via Zoom to network with other supervisors in the state, to 1) further enhance our supervision skills, 2) stay abreast of the ABEC Administrative Code, State Laws, Regulations, and practices as it relates to LPC Supervision, and 3) create a network of supervisors avaliable for individual and group consultation regarding any concerns that we as supervisors may have and/or experience as we supervise associated licensed counselors.
